Heart

I haven't been posting lately because I have been under the weather. I went to the Doctor the other day and he said that if the new medicine doesn't work he will have to do another heart surgery. I took the heart medicine and had a severe allergic reaction to it so I hope he has another one he can use. I don't relish having heart surgery again.

Another Touching Message

I got another instant message yesterday about my book, 'I Almost Divorced my Husband but I Went on Strike Instead'. The lady said that her Marriage Counselor gave it to her and her husband to read, after nothing else seemed to work.

She said, "I was determined to get a divorce until we read your book. The book explained everything so elloquently that even my husband understood, and we both changed." Then she added, "Sherri, I bet you have no idea how many lives you have touched."

I told her to be sure and get my next book, 'Marriage 101 for Men-Why taking out the trash is a turn on', I told her that everyone who has read it says it is better than the first.

Although anger and resentment from a wife is warranted, it's mostly directed at the wrong person. Men are not at fault.

Good News and Bad News

Today the bad news that my basement flooded and after backbreaking work we are waiting for the Insurance person to get here.

The good news is that I got a very personal tear jerking message from someone who tells me thast my book saved their marriage. She thanked me from the bottom of her heart.

I had some photos taken for my book and my daughter keeps putting them all on face book. She is so sweet but enough already. lol
